Cali Roots Condor Trucker Hat

Paying homage to one of our favorite local raptors.

Did you know that the California Condor, the largest North American land bird, was on the verge of extinction? This new design pays tribute to the resiliency of this majestic bird. With just 27 condors left in the late 80s, a conservation plan was developed where condors were bred and released back into the wild. There are now a healthy number of California Condors established along the Big Sur coast, including the Redwood Queen who with her partner, have raised a number of condor babies from the inside of a burnt out redwood tree.
